Chocolate Lava Cake: Decadent Dessert Made Easy

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- Pinch of salt
- Vanilla ice cream (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven : Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease four ramekins and dust them lightly with cocoa powder.
- Melt Chocolate and Butter : In a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water (double boiler method), melt the butter and chocolate together, stirring occasionally. Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
- Mix Batter : In a mixing bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, eggs, and egg yolks. Gradually fold in the melted chocolate mixture. Stir in the flour and salt until just combined.
- Bake : Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes. The centers should still be soft and gooey.
